Independence is an important part of an older person's dignity but sometimes, as life goes on, they may feel a little isolated in their own home with only the television or the radio to keep them company. That is why at EATON BRAY we offer local members of the community an opportunity to become involved in a range of organised social activities supervised by professional trained staff. We provide for all their needs while they are with us.
Our day care for the elderly is very beneficial for caregivers too. Our services help family or relatives to receive respite from the continuous responsibilities of looking after their loved ones.
We believe that everyone has the right to excellent care or support that's right for them. So our services are designed around the individual to offer care and support which is personalised for the person we are working with.
Our focus on quality means that people who use our services will not only receive individual care and support, but also they will find that this can be a great way to develop friendships and socialising as well as improving or maintaining life skills and quality of life.
Our services our provided by fully trained staff with full insurance cover.
We do trips throughout the year. Recently we went to Woburn Safari for the day. Trips planned to include Xmas Shopping Trips, visit to Garden Centre and visit to Bletchley Park to see Enigma Code Machine.
Activities include bingo, dominos, quiz or cards.
Occasionally we have guest speakers in the afternoon who talk on various subjects. For example recently our guest speaker spoke about Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.
